This is Ujjail and her friends. Her parents are migrant laborer's. She lives in Khoda Colony. She is studying in class 6 in the Khoda colony, She comes to attend this informal school from 3-5 pm every day, teachers here helps them to complete the home work . 200 plus students from near by colony attend this evening school. Some of her friends works in the near by houses. Their urgent need is to get books and uniform for new session.
Their parents cannot afford to buy books and uniform for their children, so every year many of them drop out of schools. We need to raise these funds by 31st of March so that they can start the new session happily by 10th of April 2018.
WE, Kekkeyellam Foundation, is working closely with the evening informal school in Indirapuram to raise the funds for 200+ students and buy books and uniform for them. We make sure they all attend school regularly and motivate them with prices for the attendance and performance in the school. We intend to identity skills like Art and craft, teach them to excel in them.
